OVER ONS - EVENEMENTEN
Sinds 2002 zijn Fritz Hörter en Stanny Roodselaar betrokken bij het Lotus Children's Centre en bezoeken de kinderen 2 keer per jaar. Om de kinderen op de meest duurzame manier te ondersteunen hebben zij gekozen om hun financieel te ondersteunen in educatie.
In 2017 hebben zij stichting Lotus Child Education opgericht om dit te realiseren.
Door de vertrouwensband die zij in de afgelopen 20 jaar opgebouwd hebben, is de motivatie van de kinderen gegroeid en staan zij positiever in de maatschappij. Om deze vertrouwensband in stand te houden is het belangrijk om oprecht geïnteresseerd te zijn in de kinderen, naar hen betrokkenheid te tonen en hen serieus te nemen.
De kinderen zijn nu in staat om open te staan voor feedback,
waardoor een leerproces opgestart kan worden. Elk kind wordt goed voorbereid op zijn / haar persoonlijke toekomst. Het aanbod wordt zoveel mogelijk afgestemd op de leefwereld van de kinderen.
Ondanks de afstand Nederland - Mongolië hebben Fritz Hörter en Stanny Roodselaar dagelijks contact met de kinderen. Vanwege het frequente contact met de kinderen en met het management van het Lotus Children's Centre, zijn Fritz Hörter en Stanny Roodselaar in staat om samen met het kind de juiste keuze te maken voor passend onderwijs,
Tijdens hun bezoek aan Mongolië worden afspraken gemaakt met de juiste instanties. Deze bezoeken zijn altijd samen met het kind / kinderen. De uiteindelijke beslissing wordt in nauwgezet overleg met het management en het kind besproken.
De financiering van educatie voor de kinderen van het Lotus Children's Centre loopt totdat de kinderen afstuderen. Daarna wordt het zelfstandigheidsproject in gang gezet.
Fritz Hörter and Stanny Roodselaar have been involved with the Lotus Children's Center since 2002 and visit the children twice a year. To support the children in the most sustainable way, they have chosen to support them financially in education. In 2017 they set up the Lotus Child Education foundation to realize this.
Due to the bond of trust they have built up over the past 20 years, the children developed motivation and are even able to integrate positively into society. In order to maintain this bond of trust, it is important to be genuinely interested in the children, to show them involvement and to take them seriously.
The children are open to feedback, so that a learning process can be started. Each child is well prepared for his/her personal future. The offer is as much as possible aligned to the children’s environment.
Despite the distance between the Netherlands and Mongolia, Fritz Hörter and Stanny Roodselaar have daily contact with the children. Due to the frequent contact with the children and the management of the Lotus Children's Centre, Fritz Hörter and Stanny Roodselaar are able to make the right choice for proper education together with the child,
During their visit in Mongolia, agreements are made with the appropriate authorities. These visits are always together with the child/children. The final decision is discussed in close consultation with management and the child.
The financing of education for the children of the Lotus Children's Center runs until the children graduate. After that, the independence project is set in motion.
